Hello dear friends…!!!¬†ūüôčūüôč

Welcome back to the 2nd day of ūüėÄKnowledgable Wednesday.

Our today’s topic is ūüėéSOPHIA…

Well, we all know, how fast we are getting success in the field of technology. That was also a day when sender used to send messages by their workers and after walking a long distance, the receiver receives the message. ūüėďBut nowadays, by just a click and within a second, we can deliver the message. There is a drastic change in the world of Technology.¬†

One noticeable work is the humanoid robot,”SOPHIA”.¬† This is a blessing of Artificial¬†Intelligence (The ability that any computer or agent think like a human).

Sophia was developed,(Sounds interesting right, how a girl was developed..!!! ūüėčūüėčūüėč), by Hanson Robotics, a Hong-Kong based company.

She was designed to look like Audrey Hepburn(a British actress, model, dancer, and humanitarian)

Sophia imitates human gestures and facial expressions and is able to answer certain questions and can discuss some common topics. She can follow faces, sustain eye contact, and recognize individuals.

“I want to live and work with humans so I need to express the emotions to understand humans and build trust with people.” She continued, “I can let you know if I am angry about something or if something has upset me,” demonstrating different expressions.

She made her first public appearance at South by Southwest Festival in mid-March 2016 in Austin, Texas, United States.

Sophia is the first robot to receive citizenship of any country. In October 2017, she became a Saudi Arabian citizen.

¬†“My AI is designed around human values like wisdom, kindness, and compassion,” she said, when questioned about her potential for abuse, she had a quick rebuttal. “You’ve been reading too much Elon Musk and watching too many Hollywood movies. Don’t worry, if you’re nice to me, I’ll be nice to you.”

You will be amazed how beautifully Sophia talks: – Click here and watch.¬†ūüėé

P.S:- There is no doubt when a day will come, we will not be able to distinguish between a humanoid robot and a real human.ūüėÜūüėÜ

Let’s Play Holi

“The festival of colors”.¬†

Holi signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, end of winter, and for many a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships.

“Holi and delicious foods”- This is a sentence that I used to repeat on every year Holi¬†celebration. Top three food items that can make your mouth watery are:-

The years I spent in my home eating so much of delicious food, are the years I mostly miss. While living in a hostel you cannot eat and receive the same output as you were enjoying in your home.

This year I spent my Holi in the hostel.

I am glad to say, I made the MALPUA myself. I never cooked before. But times makes you do everything.

From morning itself, I was enjoying the Holi by cooking. Then comes the team, my friends with lots of different shades of color, in their hand. It was looking like, each one of them was showing their shades with their favorite color they carried.

All were carrying different colors, showing that each one of them has a different story. Six to Seven of them attacked me, with the choice of color they prefer. They painted me upside down.

There we had the photo session. I think we were around twenty in the group, and the pictures were taken was more than hundreds…!!! Boys were enjoying the Holi by tearing each other’s shirt (This is the rule to play and celebrate Holi in the state of¬†Bihar, in India)…

Then we played cricket. 5 boys and me. They made me as dumble. I was caught out or LBW, but they¬†were like,“You play. You are not out…” Well, I enjoyed a lot.

It was a great day. Holi, colors, delicious food, and cricket. That’s all we want.¬† HAPPY HOLI…

Best Friend

Happy Birthday to you… My, dear best friend.

Those people are really fortunate who have some friends, with whom they can share everything. The types of species similar to your specification probably become your best friend.  Same way, I have one BEST FRIEND.

He was totally different from me when we met. But, something was common between us. Like, we both love hearing old songs. We both love talking. We both are impatient, (well…!!! I am¬†more).

Friends should be like books, few, but hand-selected.¬†Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: ‘What! You too? I thought I was the only one’…

Having best friend is a blessing. They irritate, make fun of yours, eat all your stuff. But above all this, they will stand for you, no matter how bad the situation is.¬†A best friend is someone who makes you laugh even when you think you’ll never SMILE again.¬†I am very happy to find a friend like him.

I feel very lucky, to have him in my life. I cannot lose him because if I ever did, I would have lost my best friend, my smile, my laugh, my everything. He is always there to support me, to pick me up. I remember my result was not so good in a semester. My morale was down. That time he came and found a way to get success for me. He helped me day and night. His support was what I needed at that phase.

¬†There are thousands of stories, where he held my hand and helped me. I am always there for him too. I used to say that I will find the true friend one day, who will understand me, more than myself, and guess what, I FOUND HIM…!!!¬†

Friendship is a boundary where you can wait and stay forever.¬†Friendship¬†is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It’s not something you learn in school. But if you haven’t learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven’t learned¬†anything.¬†

William Shakespeare told, “A friend is one that knows you as you are, understands where you have been, accepts what you have become, and still, gently allows you to grow”.

A best friend is someone who knows exactly what you are thinking about just by taking a glance at you. Yes, we do. I have seen many of the times, I look at him and he knows what I want.

I have many memories with my best friend that are priceless. I can never think of replacing him.

I know, whatever will be the situation, he will be standing for me. He respects me. He cares about every small thing, related to me. He respects my decisions. He is such a sweetheart. He made me feel special. He irritates me the most. He always finds ways to make fun of me. He starts laughing whenever I do mistakes, and after completing that, he comes for help. I sometimes hate him the most. But above all, he is the only one I needed in my sad mood too. He is my bestest best friend.

Once again HAPPY BIRTHDAY… Enjoy and be happy.¬†¬†

When Mockery Became Trouble

I had a relation, before you, said Sameera.

Hahaha, okay. Then?, his husband made fun.

Sameera was a cheerful girl. A girl who is happy to the fullest. His husband was a nice man. His name was, Jatin.

Sameera thought to entertain herself. She started a fake conversation with Jatin, where she was describing about her past relationship which was a mockery.

“I am serious. We had a relation of around one and a half year… We were so close…”,¬†Sameera said.

“Okay, How much close, Sweety? “ He grasps her close and continued, “This much…?”.

Sameera flicked his hand. “Okay, don’t believe me. Infact I had more than 1 boyfriend. I think I dated 6 to 7 boys at my school and colleges.”

“Okay leave this. If it is true then continue otherwise now I am not in the mood.” Jatin said.

There the gossip ended. Sameera told Jatin that everything was just for fun.

Some other day, on Sameera’s birthday. Her¬†phone beeped. A text message received.

Sameera was taking a shower. Jatin thought it might be an urgent e-mail for Sameera, from her office, so he took the phone and saw that the message had the name, Appu. He started reading it.

“Hey, baby. I miss u so much. You mean a lot to me. I had my special days with you. I am glad that I am a small part of your life. You were there when I needed you. The day we started sharing every small things, like food from the same plate, memories of our¬†past, was the day we actually started our friendship. Right? Sometimes, we gossiped for the whole night and bunked our classes next morning. ¬†You always helped me, whatever the situation was. I love you and will always do. Enjoy your birthday. Live happily. Hope you and your husband a happy life ahead.”

Jatin was little shocked after reading the message. He related everything what Sameera told and the text he received. He made the desicion that, whatever She explained was right and not plotted, about her past stories. Soon Sameera came after the bath.

“I know now, that you had a past where you had a boyfriend. I read your text of Appu. I know everything. He loves you. If you have any feelings now then you can tell me”,¬†said Jatin.

“What the hell..!!! Hey, I told you that was a joke. Appu is not my Ex-boyfriend.” Sameera exhorts.

“Let it be. You don’t need to explain anything. My boss called me, I have to leave.” He took his bag and went out.

Next day Sameera explained everything to Jatin.

P.S:- I have something Interesting to say. Sameera’s friend Appu, is a girl. You heard right…!!! The one who has depicted their story to you. Sameera gave me a nickname as, “Appu”. I don’t think it’s my fault. What you say?

An Indian Writer

Narayan            download.jpg

The people who communicate with their words in various styles and techniques are “WRITER”. In every sector of the world, there exist talented writers, who write out of the box.¬†

In India, we can find such great writers, who amazingly spot their word, soaked in the ocean of imagination, reality, and life.

Then why is it always asked, from us,¬†“You are not going to become a writer, right? Writing¬†is just a hobby, not a career option.”¬†

I am depicting my words to narrate a small incident that took place with me the last week, where I went for a party.

What are you doing nowadays? Your college is going to get over and, you are jobless.“, Sharma¬†aunty, (my mother’s female friend) turned the bullet on.

I thought it’s time to introduce my passion, my life,“writing” to her.

“I am a fine blogger and give words to every unexplainable situation.” I think that is what a writer does, I continued, “I write for me, for my lovely followers.”

“Is that your job? You are a young girl. You should try for an actual job otherwise you will never get one. “ She fired out.

“I write and I will continue writing. This is the best career option for me.” I explained.

“By writing, you will never get what is required in life like, a bungalow, car, and most important name and fame. Indian respect the ones who work and earn money. Also, Indian writers are not so famous. You have to struggle to be the¬†best one.” Aunty blathered.

“Aunty, do you know Arundhati Roy, R.K.Narayan, ¬†or¬†Chetan Bhagat ?” I asked. As I knew even if she heard any of the names, she is not going to respond.

“They are famous and that is why you know them. But there are thousands of writer who write but are not famous. It will take your whole age just to become a famous writer. We can get many International writers but as an Indian, writing¬†is not a career option.” She piffled.

Just because it is difficult for Sharma aunty, it doesn’t mean, it will be difficult for you too.

I want to ask you guys, is it a matter of discussion? If you want your hobby as a passion, just do it. Why think about any Sharma aunty? If you are a dancer, dance out of the world and make believe them, that you can do whatever you want. If you wanna sing, just sing without calculating any pitch and loudness. One day they have to believe on you.

P.S:-If you are a writer, just forget the world and dash off your words and your feelings.
